The Famous Bear Lake Tavern is a long time favorite gathering place for residents & tourists since 1929.  Located right on the Bear Lake Channel, you can also drop in by boat as they have a number of docks you can tie up to.  

For years children have been feeding the ducks along the channel as each generation continues to bring their children back while they remember happy memories of their childhood.

Originally built by the Cromley family just before prohibition, the "BLT" has a long standing reputation for great food as well as a fun place to meet with family and friends.  Very well known for their outstanding food (perch & burgers are always favorites), reasonable prices and overall friendly welcoming atmosphere, BLT is a restaurant you will return to over and over again.

Brothers Jeff & Greg Lobdell purchased the Bear Lake Tavern from Jim Moyes, who previously owned the business for 29 years.  The Lobdells -- who have a Grand Rapids-based restaurant company -- have just recently entered the Muskegon market with the opening of Alleyways Bar & Grill in Roosevelt Park in late 2008.
